About
the Organ
There are many surviving antique barrel organs that did not employ organ pipes, but played metal reeds similar to those found in accordions and parlor organs. This Raffin model continues that tradition with an easily transportable unit providing this distinctive "happy" sound.
The 20/40Z was first offered in the 1970’s and discontinued after several years. It is now available again in very limited quantities to commemorate Mr. Raffin’s 40th year in business, the year 2000. The commemorative production run of just 12 organs is almost sold out and the decision whether to produce more will be made according to demand.
